According to results of the year 2010, Rail Garant consolidated fleet achieved 17,500 units, which ex-ceeds three times the figures at the beginning of year.

Following the development strategy, during the last year, Rail Garant increased the number of car types that formed the base of Group’ fleet: open cars, tank cars, covered cars, tank containers and hoppers.

The main growth was related to open cars and tank cars. The open car quantity to be handled by Rail Garant increased up to 7,200 units, which was 41 % of the total rolling stock of the Holding. The tank car fleet increased up to 2,500 units, which was 14 % of the total car quantity.

The number of covered cars increased four times, i.e. up to 2,000 units; the number of hopper cars increased threefold more, i.e. up to 1,400 units.

By the end of 2011, Rail Garant plans to increase the operating fleet up to 25,000 cars and to fix the po-sition of one of the largest operators in the rail transportation market.
