By expanding its export transportation geography “Pipe Transport Company” (Rail Garant Group) developed a new direction of activity - transportation of cargo to the Baltic States by means of its own rolling stock.

Due to conclusion of contracts with foreign partners "PTC” managed to ensure cargo volumes for the freight trains to be loaded on the way back. Thus the company solved the main task - reduction of empty mileage. This allowed to reduce the cargo transportation costs.

Presently the company has established transportation of synthetic rubber from cities of Central Russia to Latvia. On the way back consumer goods are used by "PTC” to load trains.

Covered car fleet of Rail Garant Group exceeding 2000 units is used for the purpose of transportation.

“Due to growth of import transportation volumes at the moment we require additional cargo volumes from Russian companies in order to fully develop cargo transportation to the Baltic States. In order to solve this task we are constantly improving the transportation process and are committed to the balanced pricing policy”, says the General Director of "PTC” Oleg Tsytsyi.
