Early August, Pipe Transport Company (PТC) purchased 30 80’ container platforms manufactured by Ruzkhimmash JSC. All cars have already been commissioned. Thus, now the container platform fleet of Rail Garant Group numbers about 2,000 units.

For the last year, the platform fleet of the Group has increased practically by 1,000 cars. That was due to the implementation of RGG strategy aimed at the increase of the container transportation market share.

In 2012, Rail Garant plans to increase additionally the number of container platforms no less than by 1,000 units both by means of purchase of cars and by means of long-term lease.

According to the Rail Garant management, “container transportation is promising activities enough, which are evidenced by the growing containerization. The Group plans to become one of the leading players in the container transportation market”.
