“Pipe Transport Company” (PTC – the member of Rail Garant Group of Companies) increased the volume of carriage of various goods to Middle Asia countries, such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. by 30%.

Today PTC is one of the few successful operators transporting cargoes to Middle Asia.

What makes this route problematic is that the cargoes for return travel are scarce, which often leads to light runs.

Thanks to the skilled approach of PTC employees to the tasks set before them, and the active search for new partners, the Company managed to minimize light runs, thus reducing the cost of transportation considerably.

The Company’s additional advantage lies in forwarding operations performed on the territory of the Middle Asian countries. PTC is the official forwarding agent of RZD and KTZ. The Company’s extensive network of reliable partners enables it to ensure favorable conditions in other Middle Asian countries.

All of the above factors contributed to the increase in the volume of transportation of cargoes carried by PTC in covered trucks and open box cars, including iron and ferrous metal ores, equipment, industrial wood, consumer goods, etc.

According to O.M. Tsitsiy, the Company’s CEO, PTC’s immediate plans include the strengthening of the Company’s position as one of the major carriers in Middle Asian countries and to increase the volume of cargoes transported to satisfy the needs of various industries. The plans are quite feasible, taking into account the Company’s positive experience in transporting cargoes to Middle Asian countries, and the dynamic development of local industries.
