In the 1st quarter of this year, Pipe Transport Company (Rail Garant Group of Companies) demonstrated dynamic growth, increasing the amount of RAS revenue by 2.5 times in comparison with the first quarter of 2010. The revenue amounted to RUR 1.8 billion.

“Pipe Transport Company’s business reorientation for freight by means of general-purpose rolling stock has played an important role”, the company’s management believes.

Today, the PTC’s general-purpose car fleet is about 70% of the total fleet, including the open wagons fleet with more than 6 thousand units, and more than 1.5 thousand units of covered cars in the fleet.
